Dietary advice for salt restriction
Restricted salt diet is a key step in the treatment of hypertension. Such a diet is generally uneasy to put in practice. However, the observance of few simple rules results in efficient reduction of salt intake and blood pressure.

            It is recommended to avoid:

                        canned food

                        ready-cooked dishes

                        smoked meat

                        salted water (Vichy, Badoit...)

                        chips

                                    and to limit:

                        cheese and cooked meat
